Easy printable Sudoku
About 41 of the 81 cells are filled in. A good start for beginners and kids, and a relaxed round for anyone who likes a pencil in hand.
Free to copy: schools, libraries, care homes and clubs may reproduce and hand out these sheets at no cost.
What makes a Sudoku easy
In an easy Sudoku, a little over half the grid is given. Almost always there is a cell with only one number left for it – a naked single – so you can work straight through without notes or detours.
That makes easy puzzles the best practice for the basic scan: check the row, the column and the box, rule numbers out, fill one in. Once that feels automatic, you're ready for medium.
Large print for seniors and kids
Set “1 (large)” above and a single puzzle fills the whole page. The numbers come out more than twice the size of a newspaper puzzle, with plenty of room to write in pencil.
How to print
Choose how many puzzles go on a sheet and how many sheets you need, then tap “Print” or “Download PDF”. The solutions go on a page of their own at the end, out of sight while you play. Every puzzle has exactly one solution – that's checked when it's generated.
